Presidential Elections 2023 – The Correct way to vote

The Chief Returning Officer notes that, according to the provisions of the electoral legislation, the only designated symbols which voters can use in order to vote, are "X", "+", and "√".

Voters should vote by marking one of the designated symbols, inside the large rectangle below the photo of their preferred candidate, after they have entered the voting booth.

If the voter marks any other symbol or letter which possibly signifies his/her identity, the ballot will be considered invalid.

If the voter votes in any other part of the ballot other than the rectangle below the photo of the candidate of his/her preference, the ballot will also be considered invalid.
